Join us and make an impact!
Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 to bring hope and healing to children and families in Dallas County who have experienced abuse. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us provide the critical services our community depends on.
What is North Texas Giving Day?
North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. Each year, thousands of donors come together to support nonprofits that make North Texas a better place to live. You can give any time between August 28 and September 18 and be part of this incredible movement.
The Impact of Your Gift

In Texas, anyone accused of a crime has the right to face their accuser — even when that accuser is a child. Your gift helps a child feel a little more at ease as they prepare to testify, with comforting items like a stress ball, coloring book, snacks, and water to help them stay calm.

New clothes and a soft stuffed toy bring comfort and a sense of normalcy to a child facing trauma. Your gift offers a child warmth and a reminder that they are cared for.

Every child’s healing begins with this moment. A forensic interview allows them to share their story in a safe, child-friendly space and is recorded so they don’t have to relive their trauma again and again.

Healing is hard work, especially for families juggling jobs, bills, and trauma. Your gift provides a warm dinner for 50 people — children and their family members — during group therapy, so caregivers can focus on healing alongside their child.

For many children, abuse happened in their own bedroom. When families can’t afford to move, your gift transforms the space with new furniture, bedding, toys, and personal touches to help the child feel safe and at home again.

C.H.A.M.P. (Children Healing from Abuse with Maximum Potential) Camp is a place for friendship, confidence, crafts, games, and laughter. Your gift brings joy and healing through a safe, supportive space where kids are celebrated for who they are and how far they’ve come.

Help a child abuse survivor reclaim their childhood with trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy tailored to their needs. Your gift covers the full cost of therapy, always free of charge to families and available until the child turns 18.
