Last year, there were 31,335 cases of child abuse reported in Dallas County. This equates to a report being made every 17 minutes. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Join DCAC and Comerica in spreading hope and awareness this April by participating in our annual Pinwheels of Hope Yard Sign Campaign!
What is Pinwheels of Hope?
DCAC’s Pinwheels of Hope Yard Sign Campaign aims to spread HOPE and awareness throughout the month of April by putting pinwheel signs in yards across Dallas County. The pinwheel is not only the emblem for DCAC, but a national symbol of joy and hope to child abuse victims and their families.
Signs can be purchased for your yard and gifted to neighbors, friends, and coworkers. The goal is to have a yard sign on every lawn in your neighborhood! And thanks to our generous presenting sponsor, Comerica, all proceeds will directly benefit DCAC and the children and families we serve.
How do I get a Pinwheel Yard Sign?
Yard signs will be available for purchase online for $25 each through Tuesday, April 30th. Signs can be picked up directly at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center OR at one of our participating Comerica branch pick-up sites across Dallas. Simply select your preferred pick-up location during checkout.
