Keeping Children Safe in the Digital Age
Carly Ryan was just 15-years-old when she was murdered by an online predator. At the time in 2007, it was the first crime of its type in Australia, occurring when social media was a new phenomenon and pedophiles were starting to infiltrate the online space. Determined to help prevent harm to other innocent children and families and to help them navigate their online journey safely, Carly’s mother, Sonya, founded The Carly Ryan Foundation.
DCAC invites you to be a plugged-in parent!
Become educated and empowered at our complimentary virtual training with Sonya Ryan on how to keep children safe in the digital age.
Sonya Ryan, Founder and CEO of the Carly Ryan Foundation, will share her expertise and experiences to teach parents how to proactively participate in their children’s internet experience. You’ll learn how to communicate effectively with children regarding online safety and how to use parental controls and protection measures to keep kids safe online.
With more adults and parents aware, we can ultimately save children from online groomers and abusers.
