Family Advocacy
Our Family Advocates serve as a steady guide for families, offering one-on-one assistance as they navigate the investigation, legal process, and community resources. Through the DCAC Clothes Closet, Family Advocates meet families’ immediate needs, such as:
- Clothes
- Hygiene Items
- Diapers & Wipes
- Car seats & Cribs
Families also receive ongoing support through summer camps, seasonal drives, Bundles of Hope, Holiday of Hope, and financial assistance.
Why it Matters
Child abuse can leave families feeling overwhelmed and isolated. By minimizing barriers and providing practical support, DCAC’s Family Advocacy Program helps restore stability, enabling children and their caregivers to move forward after experiencing trauma.
