What are Advocacy Services?

DCAC’s Family Advocacy Program specializes in supporting children and caregivers impacted by abuse, guiding them through the complex systems involved from the initial outcry to courtroom proceedings. Family Advocates meet with families, explain their rights, conduct trauma screenings, and connect them to key services such as therapy and financial assistance. Services are available in English and Spanish.
