Protect Your Child

We believe one of the most powerful ways to protect children from abuse is through open, ongoing conversations. Talking with your child about safety may feel uncomfortable at first, but when done calmly and confidently, it empowers them to recognize unsafe situations and trust you as their safe person.

Starting the Conversation

Do not interview your child or confront the alleged offender yourself. Report your suspicions and let the proper authorities investigate.

Need to report suspected child abuse?

Anyone who has reasonable cause to suspect that a child is a victim of abuse or neglect is required by Texas law to report their concerns immediately to the police or the Texas Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-252-5400.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please call local law enforcement or 911.
