Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center is excited to welcome Jen LeBlanc as Chief Advancement Officer and Carol McBride as Chief People Officer. Joining DCAC during a period of significant growth and momentum-including preparations for our annual Crimes Against Children Conference in August, these accomplished leaders bring valuable expertise that will help drive our mission forward and strengthen our impact across Dallas County.

Jennifer (Jen) LeBlanc brings more than 25 years of high-impact leadership experience in the nonprofit, corporate, and media worlds. As DCAC’s Chief Advancement Officer, Jen will oversee fundraising, marketing, and communications, helping grow the organization’s visibility, impact, and support from donors and partners. Known for her innovative thinking, strategic mindset, and deep passion for purpose-driven work, Jen is poised to elevate DCAC’s community engagement and philanthropic reach.
Jen previously led major fundraising campaigns totaling over $85 million at Church of the Incarnation, including a transformative $31 million capital campaign. Her background includes building and managing high-performing teams across development, communications, and operations. In the media space, Jen served as Publisher at D Magazine, where she more than doubled digital traffic and helped the publication earn national accolades. Most recently, she was Vice President of Reputation & Marketing at Sunwest Communications, leading brand strategy and cross-functional growth efforts for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Carol McBride joins DCAC with over 30 years of experience as a highly respected HR executive, consultant, author, and speaker. As Chief People Officer, Carol will lead all aspects of human resources strategy, talent development, employee engagement, and organizational culture. Her focus will be on cultivating a workplace where every team member feels supported, valued, and inspired to thrive. Carol holds both the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials and has served in leadership roles within multiple industry organizations. She is known for her passion for people-centered leadership and her commitment to inclusive and mission-driven workplaces.
Before joining DCAC, Carol was the Founder and Managing Partner of The Carol McBride Group, LLC, where she advised organizations nationwide on HR transformation and employee experience. She is also the author of HR, Where’s Your Freaking Sense of Humor? and host of the Human podcast. Her distinguished career spans leadership roles such as Chief Human Resources Officer, Global HR Manager, and Executive HR Consultant for organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises. Additionally, Carol has served in various roles such as chair, board director, and president for charitable trusts, healthcare, and resource groups.
