Children often learn behaviors by observing their parents—including exposure to domestic violence, which is a serious form of child abuse. This course explores the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), common characteristics of offenders, and the distinctions and overlaps between child abuse and domestic violence. Topics include crime dynamics, victim experiences, disclosure, grooming, and compliant victims. Participants will leave with practical strategies and clear next steps for handling these complex cases.

In this 3-hour training led by Reclaim611, participants will learn the definition of human trafficking, recognize key red flags and misconceptions, and identify both physical and psychological indicators. The curriculum covers trauma-informed response, proper reporting using agency protocols, and includes practical knowledge of relevant laws, case evaluation, and best practices for supporting trafficking victims. Participants will leave with actionable tools and be able to apply their learning to real-life scenarios and agency procedures.
