Explain your position with DCAC: I guide our team of MDT Coordinators that provide support and coordination to our partners investigating child abuse cases to help ensure that children receive a collaborative investigation and are offered support services.
What led you to work at DCAC: I had the opportunity to attend Appetite for Advocacy in the Spring of 2017 and I fell in love with the mission and work of DCAC.
Tell me about someone who has influenced you or a mentor who has helped the most in your career: My mom has always been one of my biggest supporters. She is always encouraging me to push myself to achieve my goals and make a positive difference in the world.
How do you enjoy spending your time when you are not working: I love a good binge session of Netflix, but at this stage of life you can normally find me playing with my three-year-old daughter and four-month-old son. We love riding bikes around the neighborhood and having picnics at the park.
What is the one thing you are most proud of about your job: Am I allowed to say everything?! Over the past five years, the staff at DCAC have become my extended family. I love getting to walk into the building each day to work with such an amazing group of people. I also love getting to tell people that I work at DCAC and we do everything in our power to support our partners and the children and families that we serve.
