Artist Bio:  Bryan began his career in 1998 working for Oklahoma Fixture Company, one of North America's largest retail design and manufacturers, and its subsidiary, Recherche. He spent approximately 5 years designing furniture, fixtures and interiors for the company. During this time he had the opportunity to travel the United States and learn the furniture industry, while his desires to design and create continue to expand. Bryan relocated to Dallas in 2002 following his extensive work at Recherche. In 2003, Bryan continued his design career by joining the team at Pier 1 Imports. There he focused on designing furniture and accessories. In the summer of 2006, Bryan consolidated his multitude of talents with the launch of Studio Wetz, LLC, a collaboration of custome furniture design, interior design, architectural renderings, original paintings and portraiture. Three years later, Bryan and his brother Taber Wetz, opened the doors to Rising...a gallery. Rising displays an eclectic mix of art, sculpture, photography, custom furniture and design. Bryan is a product of the Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain and an alumni of Oklahoma State University where he earned a degree in interior design.
