Artist Bio: Esther Ritz is a local Dallas artist whose studio is in North Oak Cliff, in the Bishops Art District. She works with bold colors in an abstract style. In her words, "The canvas becomes a playground for the tug of war between figure and abstraction, [her] expression, and the insistent nature of the paint itself." In "Keep Trying," Esther’s affinity for the abstract style is underscored as the title is a type of appeal to the viewer, a means of communication between the artist and the viewer.
